Simce 2021, I’ve been an active member of Scientist Rebellion (SR): a movement of scientists and academics who believe that conventional modes of scientific outreach have failed, and that we must expose the severity of the climate and ecological emergency by engaging in direct action.

Climate and ecological breakdown are symptoms of oppressive societal systems - capitalism, colonialism, imperialism - and these systems are currently facilitating death and destruction in many other forms, beyond CO2 emissions or the destruction of the natural world. For this reason, I am also involved in decolonial collectives that are working to dismantle imperial oppression, and working towards the liberation of subjugated peoples around the world. One of these groups is Academics for Palestine.
